Hello Neighbor is a stealth-based horror game where you must secretly enter your Neighbor’s house and uncover the disturbing secrets hidden in the basement. Explore the mysterious house, solve puzzles, avoid detection, and find a way out before you are caught.
This is more than a traditional horror game filled with scripted scares. The game provides a sandbox-style environment where objects, doors, windows, traps, and different routes can all become useful parts of your strategy. Move through the backyard, climb into the house, throw objects to create distractions, hide from the Neighbor, and find alternative routes when your original plan fails.
The Neighbor is controlled by adaptive AI that reacts to your actions. Repeatedly entering through the same window or using the same escape route can cause him to prepare new traps or block familiar paths. As you continue playing, the house becomes increasingly unpredictable and challenging.
Explore the physics-based environment, experiment with different objects, solve puzzles, and uncover hidden areas. Stack boxes to reach new places, search different rooms, open locked paths, and discover the secrets inside the house.
The house gives you plenty of freedom to experiment, but the Neighbor is always nearby. Plan carefully, stay alert, and use your surroundings to uncover what is hidden in the basement.
