In the racing game Need for Speed: Most Wanted, you'll burn rubber on the streets. Become the most notorious and hard-to-catch street racer by racing against the clock and other racers. Gameplay
- Cars: As you progress in Career Mode, you'll have access to the most popular cars, including Aston Martin, Audi, Chevrolet, Fiat, Dodge, Lamborghini, Lexus, Mazda, Porsche, as well as Subaru, Renault, and Volkswagen.
- Upgrades: With performance parts, you can upgrade various parts of your car, such as the engine, suspension, brakes, nitrous, and more. Your modifications will improve your car's speed, top speed, or handling, depending on the modifications you make.
- Escape the Police: The police will chase you when you break the law and commit crimes. From Level 1, where a simple police patrol tries to catch you, to Level 6, where unmarked cruisers drive the luxurious Chevrolet Corvette C6 and helicopters will do everything possible to catch you. Risking your life will earn you reputation points on the streets and move you up the blacklist.
- Level Design: An industrial landscape provides a beautiful backdrop for exciting races and chases. Numerous different races await you on these wild roads, allowing you to test and hone your driving skills.
- The Faster, the Better: In Need for Speed games, you'll need to manage your nitrous boost wisely to win one after another.
Playtime and Game Modes
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) will last approximately 20 hours if you focus on the main objective, but if you want to go beyond the main objective, it can easily take over 30 hours. The game offers multiplayer and single-player modes:
- Career: Need for Speed: Most Wanted's single-player campaign mode will introduce you to the game's story and lore. As a reward, the more you progress in Career mode, the more content you'll unlock in other modes.
- Tollbooth Time Trials: This is a single-player mode that includes several pursuit milestones, including pursuit length, evading pursuit, violations, rewards, trade paint, roadblocks, and spike strips. Each race unlocks one by one, and each one offers a unique vehicle.
- Quick Race: Create single-player and multiplayer courses here and customize settings like the number of laps, opponents, difficulty level, traffic density, and transmission type. But it's also great because you can create races by process. Race events: Sprint (point-to-point race), Drag (shorter version of Sprint), Circuit (lap race), Lap Knockout (circuit race, last racer on each lap is eliminated), Speedtrap (point-to-point race, with checkpoints recording each lap's total speed), and Tollbooth (point-to-point race, with checkpoints adding extra time).
