A 2D action-adventure mobile game, "Unruly Heroes" is developed by Magic Design Studios and published by Perfect World by an indie team. Through a fantastical art style and humorous plot, the story is inspired by China's first mythological novel "Journey to the West," creating an innovative experience for players.
Buddhist scripture has held the balance between Heaven, Earth, and all creatures since the beginning of time. When the divine scripture was torn into pieces and scattered across the land as Evil's wickedness increased, this delicate balance was thrown into chaos. As a result of this newfound strength, creatures who encountered the mythical power of the fragments were transformed into horrifying monsters. This newfound strength sparked their innermost wickedness. The master accepts Guan Yin's decree and sets out to reunite the fragments into a new scripture amid a chaotic world.
The game follows the journey of a master and his three disciples as they fight, solve puzzles, collect loot, perform parkour, platform, and more on their mystical demon-slaying adventure. In order to complete their pilgrimage to reunite the scripture, you must rely on their special attacks and holy relics to defeat demons.
The mobile edition of "Unruly Heroes" has now been released following its launch on Steam and consoles.
