Frequently Asked Questions
When apps are hidden and unhidden, their icons on the launcher reorder?
Hide apps in Amarok by disabling them. This appears to the launcher as if they were uninstalled. Unless the launcher can be hacked, there is little we can do.
Hooking the launcher would be a significant undertaking, since there are hundreds of launchers available in the market, and root is also required.
A hidden folder/image/... can still be viewed in xxx (an app)!
The file cache of that app may be the cause of that.
You should be able to resolve the issue by restarting the app or your phone.
How can I reinstall Amarok after accidentally uninstalling it?
Uh... well.
Get the latest version of Amarok.
Make sure the app-hiding and file-hiding modes are the same as those used to hide.
Recover all the folders and apps you hid in Set Hidden Files and Set Hidden Apps.
Click More Settings > Misc. > Force unhide. If you're lucky, your items will appear again.
My phone broke / my files were lost because of Amarok!
