The Story Behind EeveeSpotify
For months, Spotilife was the go-to tweak for enabling Premium features on Spotify, but it eventually stopped working with newer versions. In response, EeveeSpotify was created by decompiling Spotilife, reverse-engineering Spotify, and intercepting its requests. The result is a tweak that restores Premium-like functionality while also adding exclusive features.

Features That Work

Features That Will Never Work (Server-Sided Restrictions)
- Very High audio quality – This is locked by Spotify’s servers.
- Native Playlist Downloading – Only podcast downloads are supported.
- Spotify Jam (Remote Hosting) – You can only join Jams in person.
- AI DJ & AI Playlists – These require a valid Premium subscription.
Note: While it's technically possible to implement local downloads, this feature will never be included in EeveeSpotify—unless added via a pull request.
Advanced Lyrics Support
Spotify restricts monthly free lyrics usage, but EeveeSpotify bypasses this limitation by integrating multiple lyrics providers:
- Genius – The most comprehensive lyrics database, frequently updated. (Not time-synced.)
- LRCLIB – Provides time-synced lyrics but lacks coverage for many songs.
- Musixmatch – Spotify’s official lyrics provider. (Requires a user token—see below.)
- PetitLyrics – A rich collection of Japanese and some international lyrics.
How to Get a Musixmatch Token:
- Download Musixmatch from the App Store.
- Sign up and navigate to Settings > Get Help > Copy Debug Info.
- Paste the debug info into the EeveeSpotify alert to extract your token.
- Alternatively, you can use MITM (Man-in-the-Middle) to retrieve the token.
If a song's lyrics fail to load, you'll see the message: "Couldn't load the lyrics for this song." Some lyrics may also appear incorrect when using Genius due to how the tweak fetches them.
Final Notes
