The first standalone chapter in the cooperative point-and-click puzzle game series Cryptic Killer. It is a two-player escape room game starring detective partners Ally and Old Dog.
This is a 2-player cooperative game that requires each player to have their own copy on a mobile device, tablet, PC or Mac. Internet connection and voice communication are required.
Two seasoned detectives, Ally and Old Dog, are entangled in a chilling unsolved case. They are lured on a perilous trail, only to be caught by the enigmatic Cryptic Killer they have relentlessly pursued. In order to save two innocent lives, Ally and Old Dog must untangle a box of intricate puzzles masterfully designed by the nefarious killer in order to save them. Join this high-stakes race against time, where every puzzle solved is one step closer to uncovering the Cryptic Killer.

Unboxing the Cryptic Killer is a puzzle for exactly two players. Each player takes on one of the two roles in the game and works their way through a series of challenging puzzles. As you each see one half of the same puzzle, you will need to work together to crack the codes and escape the Cryptic Killer.
