The Swordbearer - Season 1
Hello everyone!
After you're done with the update, I recommend reading this.
Firstly, thank you so much for being patient. In some way, after every update, something happens in my real life that takes me away from my work for almost a month or sometimes for an entire month and I never get to work on my game the way I know I can. To date, the story has been very light-hearted and more of an introduction to most characters and places. As much as possible, I tried to maintain the pacing while throwing the plot into episode 5. In my script, more could have happened in this episode, which I will include in the next update. These won't count towards episode 6, but will be added to this one. Episode 6 will contain some content from Episode 5.
Keeping this in mind, the length of an episode does not necessarily reflect the length of every subsequent episode. There might be some that feel short, and there might be some that feel long. The story requires a lot of action. I'll always add more to an episode if I think it's too short in the next update. In my opinion, the story comes first, and I won't try to hurry it up for the sake of finishing it. In the next episodes, there will be more action scenes, which is what I'm hoping is clear based on the way this episode ended.
I'm moving this month, so I'll need to pack up my PC as soon as possible (maybe even tomorrow), as I'll be leaving in two weeks. In case some bugs pop up, I'll fix them on my laptop. This is a pretty straightforward update in terms of coding, so nothing should break the game. Please report any typos or errors in text on my discord under the bug reports channel.
I hope this move allows me to work uninterrupted on the game and helps me settle down. The game is a lot of fun, I hope you continue to enjoy it.
