Play an online match against another squad with other players.
VOLTA BATTLES
Against AI opponents, you can earn Battle Points and win prizes if you play alone or couch co-op
VOLTA ARCADE
Become a part of a competitive multiplayer series with other players
VOLTA ARCADE is a great introduction if you have never tried it before. You'll spend hours mingling your VOLTA FOOTBALL skills with major bragging rights in this frenzy of mini games that mash up your skills. The night usually ends with a few rounds of VOLTA ARCADE after VOLTA SQUADS.

VOLTA FOOTBALL outfits get wild depending on what you unlock. VOLTA FOOTBALL starts with a basic selection, but as you play more, you'll naturally discover a larger variety.
Squad Up
VOLTA FOOTBALL is the game I play most often online with friends. Thus, we try to balance our squad based on who is available to play. You can strategize using a mix of defensive players or an overload of offensive players in VOLTA FOOTBALL. For each of those choices, there are different formation alignments and game choices:
- 3v3 Rush
- 4v4
- 4v4 Rush
- 5v5
The process of upgrading your avatar (player)
When you play VOLTA SQUADES or VOLTA BATTLES, you earn skill points that you can use to upgrade attributes. Moreover, you will be able to experiment with the different Signature Abilities to find the one that suits you best.
Select a signature ability
- Shooting boost for Boomer Shots
- Boost your speed with overdrive
- Physical / Defending Boost for Enforcers
- Aerial / Flair Shooting Booster
A little more difficult to explain, but finishing in those circumstances gives you an advantage in the air
VOLTA COINS USE
Increase the customization with your VOLTA COINS at the VOLTA SHOP. VOLTA ARCADE and VOLTA matches can be swagged out with these items. Each week, our squad swaps out outfits to match similar colorways so we don't get lost on the virtual pitch. I like to think of it as an unofficial uniform.
