This is the Preview for Simbro ResErection, fellow cultured individuals.
My first point is that I know Simbro has been tried over the years, but all have failed or are in development limbo. Unlike most remakes, Simbro ResErection is backed by me (a programmer since 2006) and a talented artist. I'm not going to lie, I'm doing this to make money. However, unlike others, I'm also ready to put in the effort.
In the meantime, development has begun. We are updating the art assets to give the game a more modern feel. Why not use the old art? I hear you ask. I understand that the artist does not want their art used anymore for whatever reason. We want to respect that. There are conflicts with the Playshapes art.
The State of the Game
We are excited to announce that our first public/demo build is now out! We've worked hard to get where we are today, but the game is still far from finished. The base systems are complete, but we still have a lot of content to add. As of now, there are virtually no stories or missions. Besides incorporating the shop and bar, there are still a bunch of other things that need to be done. While the game has bugs and crashes, it also shows our commitment to this revival.

I will not make any money from this game until the demo is released. I will only take a cut once the game becomes self-sufficient.
