After a robbery in Blackwater goes bad, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. It is the end of the Wild West era in 1899. In order to survive, the gang has to rob, steal, and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America as federal agents and bounty hunters mass on their heels. Arthur must choose between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him as deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart.
