The PowerTunnel Android app is a simple, scalable, cross-platform, and effective solution against government censorship. The LibertyTunnel proxy intercepts traffic and directs it through the VPN Server.
DPI circumvention utility PowerTunnel for Android works only on your phone, does not send traffic to third parties, respects your privacy and does not slow down your internet connection. A transparent proxy server is created on your phone, and a local VPN server is launched, which forwards your traffic to the proxy server, where DPI circumvention tricks are applied.

With PowerTunnel's SDK, you can extend its functionality however you like, and even handle encrypted HTTPS traffic (powered by LittleProxy-MITM), which can be especially useful in web development. Almost all Android devices can run PowerTunnel plugins since the program has an Android version.
PowerTunnel was originally developed as a tool for bypassing censorship. As with DNS Resolver with DNS over HTTPS support, this functionality has been spun off into the LibertyTunnel plugin, which is installed by default.
An anti-censorship tool
Digital censorship has become widespread in authoritarian and developing countries: governments install DPI - Deep Packet Inspection systems - for Internet Service Providers, which analyze and block traffic to websites they don't want you to see, so you have to use slow and sometimes paid proxies or VPNs with dubious privacy policies instead.
DPI circumvention utility PowerTunnel works only on your PC and does not route your traffic through third parties. Your HTTP(S) traffic is diverted to a local proxy server on your device, where PowerTunnel modifies it in a special way to exploit DPI errors so that you can bypass the lock - without (significantly) slowing down your Internet connection.
