A browser-based roguelite based on the Pokémon battle engine, PokeRogue was designed using Phaser3 2D game development. As a roguelite, it’s a game where you play temporary sessions or ‘runs’ rather than a single playthrough, even though many unlockables carry over to make future runs easier. For the sake of simplicity, this game has no overworld, and the entire gameplay takes place in the battle engine.

Features of PokeRogue APK
- A mobile-friendly interface
- Swapping devices on the same account is seamless with cloud-saving
- From generation 1-9, all Pokémon species
- Moves and abilities from generations 1-9 are available but not necessarily implemented (this is an ongoing project, unimplemented content will be labeled accordingly).
- Each biome has its own original background art, Pokemon pools, and trainer pools
- A collection of animated sprites
- The cycle of day/night in the game
- A stacking item system based on Risk of Rain 2
- You can find a variety of items randomly throughout your runs
- A classic game mode and an endless game mode
- Scored runs every day with egg voucher rewards and a leaderboard
- With this system, you can purchase Pokémon eggs using vouchers obtainable through normal gameplay (no real money is required).
- Neither a level cap nor stat cap exists
- When caught or hatched, any first-stage evolution can serve as a starter (including mythicals and legendaries).
- Characters for rivals and players (1 pair each for males and females)
- The ability to fuse Pokémon of different species can be done using DNA splicers to exchange abilities, average stats, and merge learnsets (fused Pokémon have dynamically swapped palettes).
- The mega form, gigantamax form, and crystallization are among the mainline gimmicks

Ctrl+B: Team builder (useful for quickly seeing your team's resistance to various types or planning)

Ctrl+S: Smogon (to get a quick reference on what movements might be good for a Pokemon, although of course take it with a grain of salt; PokeRogue is a different beast).
