A sequel to the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge developed in partnership with Lucasfilm Games, Return to Monkey Island is an unexpected, thrilling return from series creator Ron Gilbert.
It has been many years since Guybrush Threepwood last battled with his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck. Guybrush is adrift and unfulfilled, having never found the Secret of Monkey Island, because his true love, Elaine Marley, has shifted her focus from governing. A new generation of hip pirate leaders, led by Captain Madison, has shuffled the old guard from power. Melee Island has suffered a setback, and Stan the businessman has been imprisoned for 'marketing crimes'.
Take to the high seas and explore the unknown as you work your way out of tough predicaments. Battle with old friends and new faces on familiar islands under dangerous new leadership. Guybrush must overcome clever puzzles, bizarre situations, and devastating ripostes in order to achieve glory.
Back to Swashbuckling Point & Click
A clever evolution of classic adventure game controls brings classic point-and-click gameplay to the modern era, allowing pirates to solve puzzles and explore the islands. It's easy to pirate with context-sensitive interactions, reactive dialog trees, and an easy-to-use inventory system.
Embark on an archipelago adventure
Melee Island, a familiar place under new management that puts a squeeze on old friends and new faces, can be a familiar place to navigate sometimes-friendly confines. Embark on a journey of exploration to the chilling outposts of Brrr Muda and Terror Island in order to make allies and enemies.
