How does the app work?
USB Mode
Once the USB cable is plugged in (or an OTG cable if using a tablet), be sure to set HUR as the default app for the action and to check the always box.
When running the app on a device with Android 7.0 or higher, you might need to pull down the notification bar and select the USB device connected before it starts.
Wifi
Download the WiFi Launcher and install it on your phone!
The WiFi Launcher will automatically start the app when the car BT is selected
You can reverse the hotspot/client roles by enabling the hotspot option in WiFi Launcher, connecting your car's unit to the phone's hotspot, and opening HeadUnit Reloaded.
When both Android Auto and HUR are running on the same device, Self Mode will be enabled.
Make sure you have Android Auto installed on the device you are trying to accomplish this on before you open HUR and press Self-mode.
Frequently Asked Questions
The screen is black all the time
When using a head unit powered by Android (Joying, Xtrons, etc), check the setting for Video Playback while driving
