Two new game modes have been added to Meat Grinder: "The Daily Grind" and "Quick Play."
"The Daily Grind" is a randomly generated level that changes every day. Get to the end as quickly as possible to top the leaderboards. Try as many times as you like!
"Quick Play" allows you to play the level created from all the "level chunks" in a chapter.
"Forever Forge" is a feature that showcases user-generated levels. While you wait for that to start, enjoy a Team Meat chapter called "Abattoir" for now.
After the events of Super Meat Boy, Super Meat Boy Forever takes place. Meat Boy and Bandage Girl now have a wonderful baby named Nugget, who has been living a happy life free of Dr. Fetus for several years. It is Nugget that brings joy to Meat Boy and Bandage Girl, and she is everything to them. While our heroes were on a picnic, Dr. Fetus snuck up on them, knocked them unconscious with a shovel, and kidnapped Nugget. After discovering Nugget was missing, our heroes cracked their knuckles and refused to stop until Nugget was found. They taught Dr. Fetus a very important lesson through punches and kicks.
Super Meat Boy Forever returns to the challenge. Levels are brutal, death is inevitable, and players will feel a sense of accomplishment after beating a level. Players will run, jump, punch, and kick their way through familiar settings and totally new worlds.
Super Meat Boy Forever is the best game because you get to play it several times and get to enjoy new levels each time. As levels are randomly generated, the option to replay the game appears after completion, which creates a whole new experience by presenting new levels with unique secret locations. For players to enjoy and conquer, we've handcrafted literally thousands of levels. Despite Super Meat Boy Forever's infinite replayability and perfect level design, you will never see a duplicate level in the game. This is truly remarkable engineering and a monumental example of disregarding the limits of solid game design.
The Academy usually doesn't award Oscars to games, but if Super Meat Boy Forever wins the Oscar in 2020 or 2021, it might! As Meat Boy and Bandage Girl search for Nugget, we take them through several worlds with beautifully animated cutscenes and music that reminds me of Citizen Kane's reaction video to the unboxing of a sled. After all is said and done, maybe the players will emerge from the experience a little better than when they started. Ok so that last part probably won't happen but marketing text is challenging.
